Bookkeeper (Temp-to-Hire)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks skills to join our client's team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative office environment and has a solid foundation in accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end close.
• Manage payroll entries and support HR-related accounting tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Davis and meet deadlines.
